[sf-lug] Linux Kitchen?

[David Reber]

The primary goal would be to get computers into the hands of lower income
families.

Using Linux would be a way to avoid licencing issues, and easier on the
older hardware the project would likely receive.

Beyond getting hardware into the hands of lower income families, the project
would serve as a space to help people with problems and nurture projects
like people creating their own alternatives to myspace (that sounds like a
really good idea by the way).
