[dvlug] Wondering if these meetings still happen

Not sure how (in)active DVLUG is.
I haven't been to meeting on-site since before pandemic when
my work was still located in Walnut Creek. I've changed
employers (and employer location) since then, so these days
Walnut Creek would be quite significantly out-of-the way for
me (much more than a moderate occasional detour on the way home,
that it once was).

I think Ian Lynn and Grant Bowman were the last relatively active
folks in DVLUG,
there might be another one or two folks possibly, but as far as
I am aware / recall, mostly those two.

As, for list(s) for DVLUG, there's "of course" this one
(longest continuously running), and, in theory, there may be
one other - web site https://www.dvlug.org/ does also refer to
another list ... but to add to the confusion, there was never any official
communication on this list about having shifted over to that (or any other)
list, so ... this one continues to exist and function ... not sure how
functional
the other is (I occasionally also send to it, but don't know if it
actually works or reaches
anyone).

Anyway, perhaps Ian (or Grant) or others might respond regarding DVLUG
meetings - I don't recall, but I think at some point they also added virtual,
e.g. switched to virtual during pandemic (perhaps, I forget)?, and then
maybe/probably went hybrid after that? But I really don't recall in detail,
I've been sort'a out-of-touch with DVLUG meetings for fair while now.
Ah ... web site makes reference to IRC ... yeah, that sounds vaguely
familiar now that I think of it.

I know they also used to still have regular meetings, even without list and/or
website activity ... so ... lack of web and list activity doesn't mean nothing's
happening regarding meetings (e.g. in person).

Anyway, I'd think there are probably at least some interested folk(s). I
recall going to meetings there on occasion, and sometimes someone
from pretty fair distance away would come - as it was the closest LUG
meeting to them ... even if for them, "close" was, e.g. North of
Contra Costa county.
I think the closest LUG meetings North (or East) of San Francisco
(SFLUG.org, BALUG.org),
Berkeley (BerkeleyLUG.com), and Walnut Creek (DVLUG.org) are
in Marin or Sonoma county (NBLUG), or Davis (LUGOD) meetings,
I think there is(/was?) also SACLUG if I recall correctly? - in Sacramento,
other than those, don't think there's anything further North in California,
but I may not be up to current on that.

And, last I was aware, Ian was (semi-?) active with DVLUG.org.
And Grant had mostly gotten sidelined with other stuff keeping him quite
busy, so hadn't been as active in DVLUG.org in a while (I don't know if
that's changed).

Oh, web site also has information on more recent (e.g. 2022) podcasts and
such ... so some of that data, etc., may provide additional clues as to
who's been active more (semi-)recently with DVLUG.org, etc.
