Also, please verify that all your 10, 12 and 14 gauge wire is copper
and not aluminum. Aluminum might be OK for header feeds, but it's a
fire waiting to happen in normal wiring, unless your every receptacle,
switch, wirenut, lightbulb connection, junction box, and everything else
is made specifically for aluminum wiring and tightened down correctly.
And I think such tightening must be periodically maintained: I don't
know how periodically.
