Domain squatting? Yeah, everyone thinks the other guy either shouldn't
make money or is doing so unethically.

As a corporate lackey, the boss man wanted me to work all day and
travel all night for 40 hours pay.

As a consumer audio repairperson customers wanted me to diagnose it for
free and just sell them the parts. They bitched about a $9.00 refused
estimate charge.

As a freelance software producer some customers wanted a fixed bid no
matter how vague (and big) the description (I won't even call it a spec)
was. And then they paid me less than agreed because this or that was
missing (you didn't write a manual).

At Troubleshooters.Com some folks bitched because I didn't make
Troubleshooters.Com pages free as in liberty, even though they could
read the pages for free on an ongoing basis.

As a book author, some folks felt that I should make all my books free
content, which of course meant that everyone else could compete with me
using my work and none of their own. Writing a book takes between 3 and
18 months full time.

And now I'm a domain squatter, I guess because I get there before the
megacorps and then make a profit selling to them. Some questions: Is a
coin dealer a coin squatter? Is an art dealer or collector an art
squatter? Is a bitcoin investor a bitcoin squatter? Is the car
dealership a car squatter? Is a guy who stashes platinum as a hedge
against inflation a platinum squatter? Is the guy who acquires NOS (New
Old Stock) parts to sell to others a parts squatter? Is the guy with a
stock portfolio a stock squatter or a corporation squatter?

Here's the deal. I'm not a monopolist, nor do I work for a monopolist.
Not a thief nor work for a thief. My business is honest and involves no
lying. I don't work for those who build weapons to kill people. And
I've never been on welfare or unemployment. I'd say these facts alone
put me in the upper 50% on the ethical workers' scale.

Domain squatting My Aunt's Hat.
