Long before Cory wrote about "enshittification" in Internet businesses,
I cottoned onto the cheque-printing racket, where once you get signed
up, especially via any sweetheart deal with your bank/credit union, you
get royally reamed for REorders.

Point is, cheque printing is one of many lines of business that punish
customer loyalty, and jack up prices on follow-up orders to see how
stupid the customer is.

It was time to reorder, so I logged into [snip name of my bank], and
navigated to "reorder cheques", which took me (via sweetheart deal) to
Harland Clarke Check Printing as a [my bank] customer.  A reorder of 80
cheques would have been $44.90 including shipping.

In anticipation of the situation, I have this nice information page:

So, I picked "Costco Checks (via Harland Clarke Corp.)"  Filled out an
order as a new customer (but with a Costco membership).  Price for 400 
cheques was $24.98 including shipping/tax.

Expected delivery: May 1st.

_That_ is one hell of a savings.
