[conspire] Installing Linux on Elise Scher's Chromebook

I think I have played around with Mint a bit in the past.
Husband Robert says he has thumb drives.
Now I would need to pick a distro and download it to a thumb drive.
But I can’t do that on my old MacBook Air, which is the computer I use the
most. Well actually I use my old and cheapest you could buy new iPhone the
most.
My husband has at least 3 desktops running windows in his tax business.
One or two for him. One for each of his accounting clerks, two ladies who
have worked with him for years.
I do have random laptops around that just sit there most of the time. One
has a bad hinge and is missing a key or two.
I was issued a MacBook Pro to use at summer school. I will return it Friday
afternoon when summer school ends.
I read district email on it and play YouTube videos for the students, like
about the days of the week.
We are working on verbal and written fluency.
All the students have IEPs.
