Yes, a lot of people seem to have utterly missed the fact that China
has _never_ had the ability to make or design high- or medium-end chips,
and doesn't even have the ability or domestic expertise to make or
maintain the equipment that make low-end chips (such as IoT or the chips
in Casio watches). _And_ have just had even the ability to _import_ any
such things, or have assistance from US persons taken away (by the Biden
admin).
