[conspire] Mysterious freeze-ups (was: Happy New Preferred Application!)

Hi Steve,

I do not know how to type function keys with my Datahand. It may be
that the "function" shift (lift right-thumb up) key is broken or not
setup properly on my Datahand. I've not been able to figure that
feature out in 20 years. I just use the regular keyboard instead for
function keys. Two keyboards are better than one.

So I have plugged my regular USB keyboard in again and yes, I get
Terminal 1-6 for Cntl+alt+[f1,f6] and GUI back again with Cntl+alt+f7.
Thanks for reminding me. I had forgotten that magic key combination.
But my system is not frozen right now. Look Mom, two keyboards at
once! (She is looking down from heaven, maybe. But heaven can be a
distracting place. So. Maybe she has moved on to being a bee by now.)

2 keyboard or not 2 keyboard, it is getting late. My eyes are drooping
at the edges.

Two keyboard for now.
