Oh, you may find this amusing.

At 8:20am, I was woken up by a Comcast rep, who wished to inform me that
the task had been accomplished. I was _tempted_ to keep her on the line
to double-check, but really needed the extra sleep, so instead I just
thanked her and nodded back off. (Also, because I've for the time being
disabled IPv6, it was no longer urgent to get this right.)

Just now:

$ dig -t PTR
9.8.a.b.3.1.e.f.f.f.d.e.0.2.2.0.0.0.1.d.f.2.8.1.4.2.0.3.3.0.6.2.ip6.arpa.
;; Got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NXDOMAIN, id: 2940
;; flags: qr rd ra; QUERY: 1, ANSWER: 0, AUTHORITY: 1, ADDITIONAL: 0

;; AUTHORITY SECTION:
4.2.0.3.3.0.6.2.ip6.arpa. 3600  IN      SOA     dns101.comcast.net.  hostmaster.comcast.com. 7 7200 300 604800 3600

$

So, there ya go. I'm sure they did _something_, and congratulated
themselves and closed the trouble ticket -- but they didn't do what I
asked, and I'll now be going back and reopening the trouble case to say
'Hey, how about doing the -right- thing, this time?'
