[I gratefully acknowledge your point about state authority, even though
I'm about to disregard it.]

Quoting Paul Zander (paulz at ieee.org):

Likewise, the other five Bay Area counties. And plant nurseries and a
wide range of outdoor businesses are now being allowed to reopen fully,
so I'm likely to be at Yamagami Nursery and Garden Center at 9am Monday.

Actually, I just checked their Facebook page, and a barrage of queries
from customers including me secured them permission to reopen starting
last Saturday as a 'mixed essential' business. Cool.

It's really odd, but ever since the Toddler got into office, I've
repeatedly found myself needing to remind alleged-conservatives about
the Tenth Amendment -- which is ironic, because the limitation of
Federal power and reservation of rights to the states and to the
American people was traditionally a conservative go-to talking point
(with which I always of course concurred).
