I'm going with 'yes', though Scott making very nearly the very same
stupid error (doing Reply-All) risked a visit from the Irony Fairy.
Mass mails like that need to be Bcc'd, and it's a good idea for the
sender to have him/herself as the 'To' recipient. That is, however,
a second-best solution with the drawback that many users' mail software
treats Bcc-addressed mail as suspect. The _best_ solution is to
generate N individual mails each with a plain ol' 'To:' header to an
individual recipient, which you can do using shell scripting and
/usr/bin/mail (or mailx).
(Your typical recruiter's inability to do that is not my problem. I'm
just saying it's the technically optimal solution, AFAIK.)
