[conspire] Norske vafler

There is backpacking and then there is car camping.  If the "kitchen" is a short distance from the car, cast iron, and coolers with ice work quite well.
In August I will spend several days sailing at a lake in the Sierras.  The closest "accommodations" are a camp site in a national park.  After a day on the water, it will be a short walk back to my tent and car.  Other people will stay at cabins or rented condos.  Those sailors will have to drive the mile or 2 to the beach before the parking lot is filled.

Was the URL I posted truncated at my sending end, or at your receiving
end?  Anyway, the correct URL for the 'better set of pictures' is here:

That's at a 'Classic Camp Stoves' site because, it appears, you can use
them over a kerosene stove or campfire.  Who knew?

Still, it'd be at minimum a little eccentric to hike into the John Muir
Wilderness shlepping a cast iron waffle iron, nei?
