Another comment on water.  Someone who lives near 17 and Summit Road had it way worse with the last round of rain.

The electricity was off for 4 days. Also the water was off.  I don't know if it was broken pipe or lack of electricity for a well pump.
But wait there's more.
So much rain water was coming down the hill that it made a lake behind the garage.  It found it's way inside, across the garage floor and out under the garage door to continue down the driveway.
Some urgent shovel work was performed to divert the water.
