If you're in the UK, it's the flu jab.  If you're in the US/Canada, it's 
the flu _shot_.  If you're in Australia, you're six months overdue.

One of my colleagues is already suffering this year's flu.  But it's not
just a whole lot of no fun:  It can also kill you.  

The Northern Hemisphere's flu outbreak now (according to CDC's weekly
surveillance report, published Pearl Harbor Day) seems likely to peak
near the end of December, but historically continues to March.  Immunity 
takes two weeks to ramp up.  Ho ho ho!  Get vaccinated.
