I should have sent announcement to the group, even though I knew that Rick was otherwise distracted.  We had an extra station set up so visitors without ham license could operate under supervision.  I'll try to remember for next year.  Everyone reserve the date:  June 28-29, 2014.

BTW, a group in Cupertino set up outside City Hall.  The mayor happened to pass by and found himself holding a microphone.

IMHO, Amateur Radio demonstrated the concept of Open-Source long before there were electronic computers that needed source code.
