[conspire] SHORT NOTICE: LibreOffice and the Document Foundation bay-area event

Hi there,

First off: please excuse me for coming up with the following proposal on short
notice and out of the blue.
As it happens, in the second week of May at least two people with a good
involvement and knowledge about the LibreOffice project will be around at the
bay area:

- Simon Phipps [1]
- me (Bjoern Michaelsen) [2]

While this is making all too obvious how euro-centric the project still is[3],
this is exactly one of the things we are resolved to change. If all else fails,
Simon and I will likely just find some Starbucks and meet there on Saturday,
2013-05-11 with a very ad-hoc announcement over our infra to start something up
in true guerilla style ;) -- but, if you have some better location and maybe
means to buzz this to the local community, we would be more than happy to take
advantage of that. So: Any way you could support us in any way (including
hinting us towards a better suited local partner, if needed) would be greatly
appreciated.
