Automagically adjusting /etc/localtime and /etc/timezone
without user involvement is arguably useful on a laptop, though
personally I'd rather do it myself.  

_However_, GeoClue need not report physical location to a bunch of 
strangers in order to accomplish that.  It's configurable to use your 
choice of geolocation data including your own data:
