Hebrew is included in many fonts, including Courier New, DejaVu Sans,
Ezra SIL, FreeMono, FreeSans, Free Serif, MPH 2B Damase, Times New
Roman, and unifont. Most of them are meant to cover modern Israeli
Hebrew. Ezra SIL is intented to render Biblical Hebrew fully. You have
to install these font packages separately so that the Hebrew and other
scripts will be available for all text, not just inside one word
processing program.

Even Google Mail handles RTL correctly. I typed the keyboard diagram
below starting at the right of each row.
