Nice.  i still think it should be done in the application and I sure wish
I'd know it would affect every xterm and vi editor I had open on my X11
desktop, with 12 C++ programs open in gvim in mid code before I ran that
command!!

I'd be happy with one method to turn the input back to us if you would
Ed :)  I can't really google it at the moment.
