Nothing is impossible. It just depends on when anyone puts forth the effort to
do it, and when they share their effort with the community. The proper OpenWrt
target for the DIR-655 is the "ubicom32" one. All it would take would be
someone who understands this stuff to grab D-Link's GPL tarball, find the
device-specific stuff in it, and port that to the already-existing target in
OpenWrt.
