You're specifically referring to Pardus _Corporate_ v. 2. Pardus is a
Turkish university project that, starting in 2003, created a
Gentoo-derived desktop (and live-CD) distribution called 'Pardus Linux',
whose 1.0 release appeared in 2005. Pardus Linux remains their main
offering, and has been based on leading versions of KDE 4.x since 2008;
the new 'Pardus Corporate', by contrast, includes 'KDE 3.5.10 [because
it] has a good reputation for its stability and performance.'
They have their own installer (naturally) and package manager, and some
other Pardus-originated management tools that look promising. The
development community appears to be pretty strong, and also strongly
committed to open source. You might end up learning some Turkish. ;->
