Subject: install for this saturday

Hi fellow installers,I am planning to drop by this saturday Jan 9th with my rig, so that I can upgrade from Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy 64, to a more recent version of Linux which you might recommend.   8.04 is starting to feel outdated...  I don't mind having the hard drive reformatted as I have already saved my important files.
Hector

Hi, Hector!

We certainly have quite a lot of current and recent distributions in CD
and DVD media, including various forms of Ubuntu 9.10 "Karmic Koala".
You'll find the full list here:

It's your call as to what you want to reformat, but certainly it would
be cleaner to start with blank filesystem(s). Anyway, we'll of course
be glad to help.
