Quoting Ruben Safir (ruben at mrbrklyn.com):

> Actually, this has now become a waste of time.

I'm glad you're saying that -- _but_ I now wake up to see _four_
additional posts from you on this topic. Starting with something wacky
about "a highly emotion charged response", referring to where I
touch-typed at very high speed (just before bed) an entirely
dispassionate recap of what I said previously, also pointing out in
passing your new misstatements and your erroneous attribution to me of
views I don't hold and never articulated.

WTF?

Ruben, you're already aware that I _ran_ Windows Refund Day (with Nick
Moffitt, Don Marti, and a help from some other folks including Deirdre).
What the hell are you doing, trying to tell me about that topic, and
about Microsoft's deals with OEMs?

> I just asumed that someone on this list had contacts with HP.

Once again, you're choosing to ignore why I said it's irrelevent whether
"someone on this list had contacts with HP". Which please see.

> Yes - I advocate the use of Free Software and think OEMs should be
> encouraged to sell prelaoded GNU system

Well, I've already explained, several times, why this isn't even a
particularly good thing to even _want_ (because of the reasons why OEM
preloads tend to suck), but also that you have absolutely no credible
plan to advance your goal, i.e., what you try doesn't work. All it does
is waste your time. And other people's. Stop wasting everyone's time,
Ruben.

> signing off on this topic.

...he says, immediately before writing _three additional postings_.

And meantime, at your distance of 3000 miles, the overnight Mailman
administrative notices suggest that you're managing to inspire yet
another bunch of people to unsubscribe from my LUG mailing list. Gee,
thanks, Ruben. You're a big help.
