Or grow some of your own veggies. You don't need a huge yard to get started. Tomatoes and zucchini can be grown in containers if you don't have any other place.
For advice, check out:
Common Ground Organic Garden Supply and Education Centerhttp://www.commongroundinpaloalto.org/
Even if you are an expert gardener, they are a great place for seeds and seedlings.

Quite so.
I originally did my best to reject all foods containing high-fructose corn
syrup (including sodas) because it tastes peculiar. A short time later,
it occurred to me that it's also terrible for one's health. And then, I
started to understand the corporate boondoggle aspect. Any of those
_ought_, IMO, to be sufficient reason to want nothing to do with it.
Yet, look at the way people ingest the horrible stuff! (And then get
diabetes.) Go figure.

I was just considering last night how to work a mention of this option
into my farmer's market list:
http://www.localharvest.org/farmers-markets/M28934
Palo Alto Community Farmshop
(Palo Alto, California)
Stop by or sign up to buy fresh local produce at the new Palo Alto
Community Farmshop!
Every Wednesday afternoon at City Hall King Plaza, 4pm-6pm, beginning
April 22 through October 2009.
As part of our city's commitment to sustainability and connecting people
in our community, please stop by to pick up a selection of organic,
locally grown produce from Capay Valley Growers or sign up to receive a
box of produce delivered directly from the farm to you at City Hall King
Plaza each Wednesday.
If you choose to sign up, the two box sizes that you can select from a
bushel (large) or a peck (small) feature an assortment of seasonal
vegetables and fruits. You will be able to swap out any veggies you do
not like, browse for anything extra you need, and have an opportunity to
chat with the farmers who grow the food as well as City staff and other
people from downtown businesses.
This weekly event will occasionally feature bands, guest chefs,
cooking gadget demonstrations, and other fun. To learn about program
details, and to sign up, visit http://capayvalleyfarmshop.com/shop/ .
