It was great to see you all again, and good to finally have fair enough
weather to comfortably enjoy a meeting on my back porch and yard, again.
My apologies for cutting out, around 9PM. An attendee suddenly needed
to visit the emergency room at Kaiser Santa Clara (and is fine). I
went along, to make sure everyone was OK.
My thanks to Christian Huebner for getting everything put away, when we
came back from the hospital. I certainly don't mind that things were
still left out, _but_ I do wish that the last people to leave had walked
around to make sure everything was OK: You see, the citronella candles
were left burning, with nobody around. (There are still a few
mosquitos, albeit no longer the number of the last couple of years.)
It wasn't too dangerous (especially early in the summer, before
everything is dry, and with the candles all in metal containers), but
I'm happier when open fire is _not_ left unattended, and there's also
the needless waste of citronella to consider.
In other news, I've reburned the Kubuntu/Xubuntu/Ubuntu 9.04 beta CDs
that had Sharpie ink on them. Also, CentOS 5.3 is finally out.
