No. There is a persistent misconception about how Reply-To works, which
you're reflecting here. Ed setting Reply-To would designate an address
at which _he_ should be reached as sender, by anyone doing
Reply-to-Sender. But such replies were never the problem. The problem
is people doing Reply-to-All -- which, if Ed were to set Reply-to, would
result in this sort of reply:
From: otherguy
To: ed's-alternate-address, list1, list2, list3, list4, list5, list6
