as for internal options, I'm afraid I may be more of a dummy than I thought,

I don't run SVLUG's installfest. A friend named Ed Cherlin is in charge of
it. Again, the group I head is called CABAL, which meets in west Menlo
Park.
I can't really tell you much about current details of SVLUG's
installfest beyond what I pointed you to previously, e.g., the SVLUG
