You may be right but I thought they were both related tribes.

There is someone doing generics blood work in Lebenon while using
ancient graves for DNA samples, teeth as I recall.

It was a few years ago so I would expect that some results have
been published.

I've met a lot of Lebonese in the states and they seem, from an
armchair perspective, to be a different stock than Syrians, Israeli Arabs
or Egyptians that I've met.  I was in SA, and that is definetely different
stock.
