[conspire] mediawiki issue

hi,

You were all kind enough to help out with this mediawiki issue, and so I
wanted to let you know what our team figured out:

Reset the charset to be all latin1 collate latin1_bin for each of the
tables & now it works.

So my deep thanks to all who replied!!
