my beloved but HUGE 19" dell p991 died  and now i use the 17" eview i7f3 that i used to bring to installfests . but i did not haul it to the bone yard aiimmediately , i just connected it to an adapter on a laptop and it does display characters . 
 
 Only the graphics modes are out , should i still treat this as dead ? 
 
 still real trouble figuring out the local free wireless .
