VIA's SATA chipset does _not_ support hardware RAID; it's a BIOS-assisted,
manufacturer-proprietary software RAID scheme.  See:  "Serial ATA" on

As a quick rule of thumb, if it's motherboard-integrated, you can bet
it's not hardware RAID.  For the latter, you need an add-in card from
someone like 3Ware, LSI Logic, Adaptec, HP, IBM, or ICP Vortex.
