I've seen reports that Debian 3.1 "Sarge" has indeed been released, but
have seen no posts to that effect in any of the obvious places.
The package mirrors haven't changed the symlinks.  ("stable"
still points to woody; "testing" still points to sarge.)

(Personal perspective:  I've not cared about Debian's stable branch in a
long time, and see no reason to start now.)
