well taken rick, i'm not missing any data,
specifically i'm getting "read only" when the
permissions listed under konquerer say rw and i'm
root. something more subtle ma work, so

     unless i succeed downloading a grub floppy in
w98, 
i'd like to visit someone before cabal 2get 1.
