At the Conspire meeting you mentioned that you are searching for
an Airport card for your iBook. I ran across this on a newsgroup.

I found on that french forum

that Airport cards are actually rebadged Lucent cards, and Sony uses the
exact same cards for their VAIO laptops, under the following reference:
VAIO - PCWA-C150S. I believe they are easier to come by.

You just have to pull off the clipped antenna and you got yourself a
perfectly functionnal Airport card.  :)

I don't know about the prices of those cards, but I think they could be
cheaper than those overhyped Airport cards...
