[conspire] need recursive ftp put

Hello Cabal,
I need a way to put a big directory and all its
contents to an ftp site, i.e. a recursive put. I don't
have a shell on this remote site, just ftp
permissions. It's possible but not practical to do
mkdir over and over.

I've used axyftp for this in the past, but now I can't
find my copy, and the bugger won't compile, and I
can't find a binary version. Anyway, I need a way to
do the put from a cron job, and axyftp requires the
GUI, I think.

Any tips appreciated.
