Journal 32: Epilogue

I returned to Alfheim with the Amp. Shortly thereafter, I was promoted to Master Bard. Vrba also went there, and studied with some of the Elven mages. One of my first tasks as a master Bard was to travel to England, and make contact with Dave. The Queen was planning a full invasion of England, and wanted to coordinate with him. I did find him, but was captured by Archibald. Eventually, Vrba contacted Udo and Keef, and they all came and rescued me. That, however, is another story. Vrba finished off Archie himself, depriving Keef and I of the pleasure (oh well, there's always next lifetime), and ate him before anybody could stop him.

The liberation of England went off as planned, and the island became part of Alfheim. Queen Galadriel eventually married young Prince William, to make it all legitimate.

Back in the human lands, Draco's rebellion went off, and the kingdom fragmented. The fighting gave many of the Thousand an opportunity to die gloriously in battle. Eventually, the fragments reformed into a confederation akin to Franconia. This was under the leadership of Draco's daughter Lucy and Hans (the heir of the former Baron of Lubeck), some fifty years after the defeat of the Drow. Erose took her time deciding between Draco and Lisbon, but eventually she chose Draco, and became Queen of Lubeck. Later in life, she had a scandalous love affair with Lisbon.

After the cannibalism incident, Vrba returned to Steinhall, since he was regarded as a sociopathic maniac by his peers in Alfheim-- even the Grey Elves. He became known as the "queen" of Lubeck.

Hal participated in the rebellion, then wandered off into the Deep Woods. It was rumored that he studied with Sam the Druid.

Sanjay's School of Practical Magic for Wood Elves flourished. He became respected by all the clans in the Lubeck area. In fact, he and his students revolutionized entertainment by implementing his "pay-per-view" scheme on a large scale. The goings-on of Draco and Erose were apparently very popular.

Luke continued his studies, and eventually took Throntax's place on the Council of Mages.

Keef and I made up, of course, and the Rolling Stones (me, Keef, Udo, and two other elves we recruited-- Wyelf and Roni) made a permanent impression on Rock music. Keef and I had more fights, but we always made up eventually. Our partnership spawned many more tales, which I may tell another time.
