In an Age called 2004 by some, an Age yet to come, an Age long past, a wind rose from the malls and bookstores of the land, as Jordan fans anxiously asked when the next book would be out. The wind was not the beginning, for this was the tenth volume, and it certainly wasn't the end, as this series frequently seems like it may go on for ever. But it was a beginning.
