From: BLANTON@VAX2.DSEG.TI.COM Subject: Psychics in THE NEWS Message-ID: <9301031537.AA19680@lll-winken.llnl.gov> Date: Sun, 3 Jan 1993 09:31:54 -0600 Psychics are in the news again, and the Dallas Morning News is playing their song. Starting on page 39A of today's (Sunday) paper is the story "Family has endured heartache since teen disapeared." On page 41A are two "composite drawings of two possible suspects in the disappearance of Kelly Wilson of Gilmer, Texas. They were made as a result of police consultations with a psychic, Noreen Revier of Maitland, Fla. The drawings were released last week by Sgt. James Brown, who urged anyone having information in the case to call the Gilmer Police Department at (903) 843-5547 or (903) 843-5545." One of the composites released last week "reached up and slapped me in the face," according to Sgt. Brown. The report goes on to say, "He hopes publicity about the composites will spur someone to come forward. What's the lowdown on Noreen Revier? I plan to write a letter to The News later on today, and I would like to supply any additional facts on Revier if they are available. +-----------------------------------------------------------------+ | John Blanton | | Secretary, North Texas Skeptics | | blanton@lobby.ti.com | +-----------------------------------------------------------------+
