[web-team] feedback from SVLUG website

I have just installed Linux on my 2 year old laptop and am about to leave on a 
trip for a week.  

I do not know Linux and I am having trouble getting a modem and a wireless 
adaptor to work.

Is there someone local I could call to help?  I have a Linux guru friend nr 
Chicago but with the time difference and hsi schedule it is not working too 
well.
