The handle_opts and the subscribe scripts insert bad HTML code
_before_and_after_ the HTML configured in the "Edit the HTML for the
Public List Pages" section:

...is inserted before the customized HTML and...

</BODY>
</HTML>

...is inserted after the customized HTML.
