Dear Valued Customers and Friends,<br>

After being closed for over 2 months, WE ARE BACK! We re-opened our doors <br>
for business as of June 1st. However, we are operating at reduced hours <br>
from 7:30 - 6pm (Monday-Sunday). Here's what we're doing to keep everyone <br>
safe due to COVID-19:<br>
<br>
* All orders will be for take-outs only until further notice. You can call <br>
in advance to place your orders to 415-500-3345.<br>
<br>
* Face covering is required to enter the store.<br>
<br>
* Social distancing from each other of at least 6ft<br>
<br>
* Frequently washing our hands and sanitizing all surfaces<br>
<br>
If youre looking for more ways to protect yourself and your loved ones, <br>
check out the CDC website. We hope that you are staying safe and healthy. <br>
Thank you so much for sticking with us. We look forward to supporting each <br>
other during these challenging times.<br>

No, all ethernet ports on commodity hardware have been autoswitching<br>
(auto MDI-X) for, dunno, maybe a decade. (Wikipedia says HP engineers<br>
invented that in 2001-2.)<br>

I do still keep a crossover cable around, just in case. It has<br>
distinctive cable colouring (IIRC), and -- more to the point, has<br>
'CROSSOVER' written in sharpie on cable near each end.<br>

For those of us who have RJ-45 crimping tools (as I do), they're easy to<br>
make by just using T568A pinout configuration on one end and T568B on<br>
the other (<a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TIA/EIA-568#Wiring" rel="noreferrer noreferrer" target="_blank">https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TIA/EIA-568#Wiring</a>).<br>
