A lot of us have cameras and microphones <br>

I'm not sure if you remember me. I attended a meeting about 3-6
months ago. I saw your last email:

get the

long post (3.2 KB0 regarding what I have
<br>
downloaded for use when we have meetings
<br>
again on the list before long. I have

downloaded Ubuntu 20.04, Lubuntu and Xubuntu
<br>
and am planning to download Studio later today.

Although you may prefer an open-source solution, I still would
like to make my offer in case it's helpful.
<br>
<br>
I have a Zoom Pro account. I would happily donate and host a
Zoom meeting so that everyone would have a chance to meet. You
don't have to download the client (<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="https://zoom.us/download">https://zoom.us/download</a>) to
use Zoom. You can also use a web browser (I believe) -- clicking
a link. If it helps, I would even go through a practice run with
you to see how well it works for you.
<br>
<br>
I know that you usually meet in a coffee house and have a chance
to share in person. This wouldn't give us a chance to share
thumb drives of new installs. But, it could give us a chance to
socialize and discuss the new changes that have occurred in the
Linux world in the past month plus. We can also screen share
anything we want to demonstrate.
<br>
<br>
If you are interested, please let me know and I'll do what I can
to help.
<br>
<br>
Kindest Regards,
<br>
Glen

The next meeting whether virtual or in real life is not up to
me.
<br>
<br>
I actually have no camera nor microphone so a virtual meeting
in
<br>
<br>
which I participated would not seem to have me there at all.
<br>
<br>
But if other folks are interested let them meet by all
<br>
<br>
means. I am still trying to get my problem with the longer
<br>
<br>
messages resolved. And not only do they not reach the main
<br>
<br>
list they do not reach the test list or private email addresses.
<br>
<br>
Thanks for your offer and I hope that some folks will
<br>
<br>
take it up.
