hi,<br><br>I solved this issue by simply closing the Firefox page displaying this site:<br><br><a rel="nofollow" href="http://akiradproject.net/repository">http://akiradproject.net/repository</a><br><br>Apparently, the updater was waiting to hear from Firefox.  So at least the problem with the hanging updater was solved.  I'm not sure if the rest of the problem was solved.  <br>
<br>Thanks to Jonathan Grindstaff for the simple suggestion to just close Firefox!  I was not sure what to do, but the solution was just so very simple. <br>
