FWIW, was successfully able to install Debian v13.2 "trixie"[01] onto a
Google Kefka MrChromebox-2408.1 [02] using the machine's native 4.0GB of
RAM and 16.0GB internal hd together with an inserted 256GB microSD card.
Went ahead and partitioned the internal hd and inserted uSD card using an
optimized partitioning scheme modeled after Karsten M. Self's 'Linux
Partitioning mini-FAQ' [03] for fairly-standard desktop usage.
Using the instructions from Debian's Fluxbox window manager wiki [04] as
well as trimming-down the number of installed packages/applications and
active services, was able to achieve acceptable desktop performance on
this machine.
GNU Emacs v30.2 [05] works quite well as an all-purpose editor/app in
text-only mode ("-nw" option) within a virtual console [06][07] on this
machine. While haven't yet gone the whole Emacs 'Dired' route [08],
_have_ instead made very effective use of 'screen' [09] and Midnight
Commander [10]
on the machine.

BTW, here is a link to an example of a _much-too-long_ posting (IMNSHO)
on the Artix Linux [artix-general] mailing-list from less than a
month-and-a-half ago ---> [11]
That 700 line+/3544min read on 'Uncovering linux desktop espionage'
drew an adverse response from another [artix-general] mailing-list member
[12] as well as a heatedly-defensive reaction from the OP [13] >:-(
I rather agree with this particular response [14] to the OP's long posting:

The information is useful and educative. Thanks.
But it is a good idea to put [Off-Topic] before the subject and a small
TLDR text will be highly appreciated. It will be used for those os us
who dislike off-topic messages and help the angry ones to be happy and calm.
