Hi LUGers,

A little note that the LP writers are a month or more ahead of time
when they write.

     • Linux Kernel 5.10 Is Almost Ready for Release (when they wrote)
Over on Distrowatch we learn that kernel  5.10.3
is already in OpenMandrivaLx.4.2-RC-plasma.x86_64.iso

24 Sunflower Following in the footsteps of Norton Commander
and its clones, the Sunflower twin-panel file manager takes
a giant leap forward with a switch to Python 3 and GTK3.

Neglects the mention of the original Amiga dual-panel
file managers which inspired a lot of copycats including
in the Amiga development scene.
The Dophin File Manager under KDE is already a sophisticated
dual-panel file manager.  Using tabs it becomes a multiple panel
file manager (personally more than 2 panels is confusing to this
old user).  And it is not mentioned in the article.

There are some advertisements as well mostly for special issues
of Linux Pro, back issues, a magazine sized manual for LibreOffice,
Administration and other topics.
