For clarification: At one point recently, I worked with Bobbie offlist
about postings she said she'd sent to sf-lug at linuxmafia.com. SHe kindly
provided timestamps, and I was then able to verify from MTA logs that no
delivery attempt had been attempted to linuxmafia.com (during that time
window) of mail from her address.

Whatever the glitch is, I concluded that it had occurred either at
Bobbie's MUA or at the sending MTA. Further analysis at the
linuxmafia.com end didn't seem possible, though if Bobbie wishes to
have me do more SMtP-receiving-end checking, I can do that.

rick at linux interesting, but perverse, point of view; (iii) This is true,
mafia.com but quite unimportant; (iv) I always said so." -- JBS Haldane
