I hope your new glasses arrive soon, Bobbie.  That sounds like quite a
problem with the old ones.

I strongly second Alex's wise recommendation of the 'cal' (/usr/bin/cal)
program as a really essential tool.  It's on every *ix operating system
including Mac OSX, and I rely on it _all_ the time.
