Ok LUGers,
Some late updates:
Ubuntu and all the variants have a LTS version of 16.04.6 now out
at Distrowatch.
Let me know if you want any of these distributions.
Mageia-7-beta2-Live-Plasma-x86_64.iso cme out and I have it on a USB
device.
Easy OS 4.05 is on a USB Flash Drive.
I have to investigate EasyOS a bit more closely to find out how
updates are
done. If it is like Qubes they will have to be done from terminal. or
maybe updates
will be done by downloading a later image file. It dose not seem to
clear to me.
<https://www.easyos.org/>
The uncompressed image file is about 641 Megabytes.
Finally Debian disk 1 9.8 is on a DVD.
I think you should have a look at Easy OS on Sunday and it can be used
as a rescue disk it seems.
