Hi LUGer
SF-LUG meets every first Sunday from 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.
and every third Monday from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M.
at the Cafe Enchante, 26th and Geary Boulevard.
These meetings are usually lightly attended with a high for the
year so far of 7 members. If you have a problem come along
and maybe we can help but if not we can usually find someone
who can.
Distributions added to the SF-LUG library:
⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙
EasyOS as easy-1.0.8-amd64.img.gz which is a USB image.
This is not a standard Linux install but creates a single folder
on disk. But not only that it can run everything in Easy Containers.
If after you read about and only have a computer that will
only boot from cd let me know and I wil burn the iso file to a CD.
If you want a copy to USB bring your own media; for a USB
boot, an 8-32 GiB USB drive. For transportation home
to work on the boot disk you can use <500 MiB of
space on media.
Read about Easy OS at:
<http://bkhome.org/news/201901/easyos-version-10-released.html>
then at:
<https://easyos.org/about/how-and-why-easyos-is-different.html>
⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙
debian-9.8.0-amd64-DVD-1.iso which has been check-summed.
and likely will be on a disk by the time I get to the meeting
next Sunday.
⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙⁙
pclinuxos-kde5-darkstar-2019.02.iso
Well Darkstar is a community release and not the main
line. But 2019.02 is the current version which I get to
by taking all the updates,
