Given how many large files (ISOs) you fetch, shouldn't you be using wget
or curl? For one thing, both support 'continue' mode where you can just
re-run the command and have it resume exactly where download was
interrupted, fetching only the remainder of the file. For another, they
support easy scripting.

SO, for example, sometimes I'll make the rounds of distro download sites
getting exact URLs of ISOs to be fetched, and create a text file called
'do' with each line being 'wget -c [URL]', like this:

wget -c http://releases.ubuntu.com/18.04.2/ubuntu-18.04.2-desktop-amd64.iso
wget -c http://releases.ubuntu.com/18.04.2/ubuntu-18.04.2-live-server-amd64.iso
wget -c http://releases.ubuntu.com/18.04.2/SHA256SUMS
mv SHA256SUMS ubuntu-18.04.2.sha256

## Apparently, Blue Collar Linux's developer developer Steven A. Auringer
## doesn't believe in checksums

Save that to text file 'do', run 'chmod u=x do', and then at the end of
the evening run './do', and let it run overnight. In the morning,
run './do' again in case there were any interrupted downloads that
need to be completed. _Much_ better use of your time and trouble
than mousing around in a Web browser.

In case people want to know what it's about: Blue Collar Linux is a
Xubuntu 14.04.5 LTS (XFCE 4.10 Desktop Environment) 'Trusty Tahr'
derivative (2014 distro release; kinda old) for people untechnical
enough to find Xubuntu confusing. He tries to give users no choices
to complicate matters (and preferring simple over complex, e.g., AbiWord
rather than LibreOffice), and throws in a copy of WINE.
